Anything from Taylor Swift’s Red album.
I like to say that I can bake but in no way can I cook. My cooking skills go as far a making pasta (once I managed lighting some on fire). Occasionally I’ll find a recipe I think sounds cool (or looks pretty) on Pinterest and give it a try. This weekend I made Southwestern Stuffed Spaghetti Squash and it actually turned out really well. I used this recipe HERE from The Comfort of Cooking. I totally recommend trying it out. I recommend cooking the squash for a bit longer than it says to, other than that it turned out really well!
Maybe I’m weird but I prefer spring over fall. I’d so much rather wear pastel nail polish over a dark polish (not that I can’t wear pastels in the fall but I’d rather not have nails that look like Easter eggs when it’s Halloween, I don’t want to look like I’ve go my holidays confused). However I’ve found a lot of super cute accessories that are remind me of spring but are practical for winter. I’ve been doing a lot of online window shopping lately (take a moment to think about that bad pun).
When some people get distracted they go on Facebook or Twitter when I get distracted I make food. I went downstairs to grab my math textbook and I ended up in the kitchen making chocolate covered almonds.
I’m happy with the way they turned out and I think they would be a great healthy side dessert for Thanksgiving because they scream fall. They kinda look like acorns!
1. Melt 1/4 a cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips in the microwave stirring every 30 seconds.
2. Then dip the larger end of the almond in the chocolate and place on parchment paper.
3. Let the chocolate harden in the fridge for 5 minutes.
4. And there you go a delicious fall treat!
I wear jeans constantly the only other things I wear are sundresses. Since it’s almost fall I’ve decided I need to switch it up just a bit. Here are some outfit ideas I have on new ways for me to wear denim.
From left to right. The first outfit is slightly busy but I think it makes the denim skirt look unique and girly. The second is my favourite and are all pieces I have some variation of. It’s definitely more of an edgy look but is also very classic with red nails and black. I haven’t quite decided yet if I’m on board with the third outfit I created. The denim top (if you can even call it a top) looks kind of like fake denim but I think paired with less revealing pieces and classy earrings it works.
Whats your favourite way to wear denim?
