Here are some of my favourite beauty products from this past month.
Dessert Essence Organics Fragrance Free Shampoo- I recommend this if you tend to have oily hair.
Maybelline Baby Lips in Peppermint- I love how minty and fresh this feels on my lips. I find it moisturizing and it isn’t too shiny.
NYC Liquid Concealer- I enjoy using this under my eyes sometimes and on acne.
Kate Spade lipstick in Bashful Blush- This is in a dark kind of pink colour.
L’Oreal Linear Intense liquid eyeliner- I’ve been wearing this so much lately!
Fall is almost here so I thought I’d share my favourite fall lip colours. Personally Fall is the only time I enjoy wearing a stand out lip colour like a red or deep pink so here are my favourites.
From left to right is YSL’s mini lipstick in Rouge Pur Couture it has an odd scent and Revlon Lip Butter in Red Velvet. These two colours are really pigmented so I just apply a bit and then rub my lips together. Next comes Covergirl Natureluxe Gloss Balm in Muscat. This goes on a sheer red and is great if you don’t want too much colour. Then CoverGirls Outlast Lip Stain in shade 400 which gives lots of colour but doesn’t make it look like you’re wearing lip stick because it goes on like a marker (I read Taylor Swift uses this shade in an interview she did).
After using makeup for a while I’ve found several products that I enjoy so much that would repurchase. I consider these my essential face and eye makeup items. Most of these products are from the drug store so they would be great if you are just starting to buy makeup.
From left to right is Urban Decay’s Eye Shadow Primer Potion, applying eye shadow without this product for me is pointless cause it won’t stay. This makes my eye shadow last for a pretty long time. L’Oreal’s Lineur Intense Liquid Eye Liner is great. It lasts for a long time on your eyes and this tube has lasted me forever! Maybelline’s Falsies Flared Waterproof Mascara also lasts a long time and doesn’t smudge even after a day in the pool.
Good face products are important because your face is sensitive. Benifit’s Watt’s Up Highlighter doesn’t just vanish into your skin when you put it on it creates a glowey affect without making you face sparkly. Maybelline’s Dream Lumi Highlighting Concealer is something that I’ve repurchased. I use it under my eyes and to cover up acne. Wet n Wild’s blush in Pearlescent Pink is perfect for first time blush users because it comes with a brush and has a natural yet noticeable affect. Maybelline’s Dream Fresh BB Cream is something I’ve only recently purchased but I already really like it. It doesn’t make my skin greasy and is so easy to apply.
